A reputed Hotel in Newcastle is seeking a motivated and reliable and experienced Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Operations Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. Supervise kitchen staff and lead shifts when the Head Chef is absent. Prepare, cook and present pub-style meals to a high standard. Ensure consistency in food quality, portion size and presentation. Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards. Assist with stock control, ordering and reducing food waste. Train, guide and support junior kitchen staff. Work closely with front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
