The Lucky Hotel Newcastle is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our busy kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality venue with a strong focus on quality food and teamwork. Key Duties: Prepare, cook, and present menu items to a high standard in a busy service environment Maintain consistency, quality, and portion control across all dishes Assist with menu planning, daily specials, and food preparation schedules Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards are strictly followed Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and assist with ordering and storage Work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-volume or premium dining environment. Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in professional kitchens. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices. Exceptional time management and multitasking skills in fast-paced settings. Creativity and passion for developing innovative dishes. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Permanent full time role with a starting salary between $76K - $82K (plus super).
