Location - ACT Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 6 months The role closes on 27th January 2026 Key Responsibilities: Respond to commercial enquiries and provide advice on procurement matters. Assist with preparation and management of approaches to market. Support tender evaluations and assist in contract development. Ensure compliance with Defence procurement policy and frameworks. Liaise with stakeholders across Defence and industry to support procurement outcomes. Essential Criteria: Demonstrated experience in commercial or procurement roles, preferably in a Defence or public sector environment. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence-specific commercial practices. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Highly Desirable: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work closely with a diverse team of varying skills to deliver against the outcomes required.
