About you: In your new role you will: Provide operational supervision to Mossman AOD Service team members to ensure best practice clinical governance is adhered to and provided. This will include monthly chart auditing that is reported to CHHHS AODS Director. Provide effective and efficient operational management of service in collaboration with AODS Director, relevant Team Leader, Manager and Nursing Director, clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the provision of quality evidence based AOD Services. Effectively manage self and in collaboration with AOD Services Clinical Nurse Educators and other Clinical Nurse Consultants, develop staff to enable fulfilment of role responsibilities. Co-ordinate and provide specialist training and professional development activities to staff working with people with alcohol and other drug problems. Lead and coordinate quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective nursing services.
