Your new role: This Clinical Nurse - FirstNet Funding Optimisation role provides advanced clinical leadership while optimising Emergency Department data quality to support Activity Based Funding and service performance. Provide advanced clinical, problem-solving and coordination skills across Emergency Department presentations, with a strong focus on FirstNet and ieMR data quality Identify and implement funding optimisation opportunities to ensure accurate clinical coding and appropriate ABF allocation Work autonomously within the multidisciplinary team, supporting timely data extraction, analysis and reporting About you: You are an experienced and highly motivated Emergency Department Clinical Nurse with strong analytical capability and a commitment to quality and performance improvement. Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration and demonstrated advanced Emergency Nursing expertise Strong working knowledge of FirstNet, ieMR, clinical coding and Activity Based Funding principles Proven ability to work autonomously, apply critical thinking and lead quality improvement initiatives A collaborative communicator who builds strong relationships and supports education, research and professional practice Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
