About this role This identified role is required to be filled by a person with a particular attribute as set out in section 7 of the Anti Discrimination Act 1991 and under Chapter 2 of the Public Sector Act 2022. What you'll do You will be play a crucial role in shaping allied health service delivery and workforce initiatives, particularly focusing on the health outcomes of First Nations peoples. Your leadership and project management skills will be instrumental in in leading the allied health component of the Growing Deadly Families Strategy implementation in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Midwifery Officer. About you It is mandatory that you: Holds a formal qualification in an eligible Health Practitioner profession (as listed in the Health Practitioners and Dental Officers (Queensland Health Certified Agreement (no.4) 2022) from a recognised tertiary institution which will permit registration with the relevant professional registration board, or eligibility for membership/accreditation with a professional association. You will have demonstrated: high level community consultations skills and ability to engage with First Nations communities, families, health services and stakeholders. high level clinical knowledge and experience in delivering multidisciplinary allied health services supporting and contributing to improved health outcomes of First Nations peoples. high level knowledge and ability to manage successful outcomes in complex projects and initiatives. ability to provide authoritative advice to senior management on a range of complex workforce planning and research issues.
