You also safeguard DPG by helping to implement and enact key risk and compliance framework requirements, compliance policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations. This roll is part of the Digicel Risk & Compliance team reporting directly to the DPG Chief Risk Officer and will support the D PG executive team across the six markets What You’ll Do The Digicel Risk & Compliance team works across the DPG to identify and manage risks, and to comply with all relevant regulations. In this role you’ll : Le verage your AML CTF specialist risk experience, audit and assurance knowledge and excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively partner with the business to advise, provide support and constructively challenge, enabling services to our customers to meet our contractual, business and compliance objectives . Utilise experience in risk and compliance management to work as part of a cross-skilled team that can support a range of inter-connected risk domains and contribute to appropriate Line 2 oversight and challenge to drive outcomes and enhance effective management of operational risks and compliance obligations. Leverage your expertise to manage compliance with AML/CTF obligations in all relevant jurisdictions (Australia, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu) for both Authentically engage and collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to help distil complex problems into simple and manageable actions that result in optimal business outcomes that serve our customers. Offer subject matter expertise and technical advice and options to internal stakeholders on risk and compliance-related matters and relevant frameworks by understanding the operational priorities, business context and with a focus on the customer . Provide guidance and support into the design and implementation of risk and compliance management best practices, requirements, and frameworks, and how they help drive informed decision making. Analyse and synthesise risk and compliance data and insights and communicate insights, themes, and recommendations to stakeholders to engage them to foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance across the organisation. Apply substantial expertise and experience along with critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and resolve potential issues/breaches, and report outcomes to relevant Board Committees. Lead and contribute to the identification, development, documentation, and effectiveness review of end-to-end processes and key controls across top risks and compliance obligations. T ravel in the Pacific region is required by exception only. About you To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Strong anti money laundering and counter terrorism experience Knowledge of operational risk and compliance frameworks. Effective communication and presentation skills. Effective stakeholder management. Demonstrated ability to work with/ to tight timelines. Experience working in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Fiji with an understanding of cultural nuances is desirable Relevant t ertiary qualifications or equivalent business experience.
