The Opportunity: KBR is seeking an experienced Configuration Officer to support the Land Systems Division. This role sits within a complex Defence environment, contributing to major land capability programs across Armoured Fighting Vehicles, Land Manoeuvre Systems, and broader engineering enablement activities. You’ll work with senior stakeholders across Defence and industry, supporting configuration governance and ensuring materiel system baselines are robust, compliant, and fit for purpose. All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply. Responsibilities: Provide Configuration Management support across Land Systems Division projects Prepare for and support Mandated System Reviews (MSRs), including Physical Configuration Audits Manage engineering change processes through configuration management tools and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) Assist in the development and maintenance of Configuration Management Plans and related governance documentation Coordinate configuration alignment across common platforms and assets Maintain configuration baselines and ensure compliance with Defence CM policies Manage and review CDRL documentation (including CMP, MRI, CSAR, BSC, TIMF) Participate in configuration management meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements Support review of vehicle acceptance documentation for delivered platforms As the ideal candidate you will bring: Strong working knowledge and practical experience in Configuration Management Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Law, Project Management or equivalent professional experience Experience working within Defence or a related technical industry Strong working knowledge of ASDEFCON Experience drafting contractual and configuration documentation Demonstrated experience in tender evaluation All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
