Key Responsibilities As a full-time Chief Information Officer your duties will include: Developing, implementing and monitoring information systems strategies, policies and plans for your area of control to ensure technology initiatives support HGS’s business operations, client engagement models and service delivery objectives. Establishing and directing operational and administrative frameworks for the governance of information systems, including procedures for system use, service delivery standards, risk management and compliance. Directing and coordinating the allocation of ICT resources, including budgets, vendors and internal teams, to support enterprise platforms, customer experience systems and analytics capabilities. Monitoring ICT work programs and organisational performance, and adjusting priorities, processes and resourcing to ensure technology initiatives remain aligned with business goals and operational requirements. Controlling ICT budget planning, reporting and expenditure, and ensuring technology investments deliver value, efficiency and sustainability across HGS’s operations. Overseeing the selection, training and performance management of staff and service providers involved in ICT-related functions, including ensuring appropriate user training and capability development. Representing HGS in internal and external stakeholder engagements, including discussions with technology partners, service providers and clients, and participating in relevant industry forums and professional engagements where appropriate. Qualifications and Experience A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or at least five years of relevant senior-level experience in lieu of formal qualifications. Demonstrated experience in developing and directing ICT strategies, policies and operational plans at an enterprise level. Proven experience overseeing ICT infrastructure, systems integration and information security. Strong capability in managing ICT operations, including prioritising system development, maintenance and ongoing operations. Experience leading ICT teams and working closely with senior stakeholders to align technology with organisational objectives.
