We are currently seeking detail-focused and reliable Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable professionals for a range of full-time and part-time opportunities with reputable organisations across Newcastle and surrounding areas. These roles are integral to ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations, with a focus on accurate processing, strong stakeholder relationships and supporting broader business functions. Key Responsibilities Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and approvals in line with business requirements Manage payment runs including EFT processing and remittance distribution Generate and issue customer invoices in line with agreed terms Allocate incoming payments and reconcile both supplier and customer accounts Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain accurate records within accounting or ERP systems Assist with month-end processes including reconciliations and reporting Respond to internal and external queries professionally and efficiently Contribute to ongoing improvements in accounts processes and workflows About You Proven experience within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Comfortable handling high-volume transactions with strong attention to detail Confident using accounting or ERP systems e.g Xero, Epicor, SAP, MYOB etc Strong reconciliation skills and understanding of financial controls Clear communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams and with external stakeholders Organised, dependable and able to work both independently and collaboratively Why Consider These Opportunities?
