About the Opportunity: Operating and maintaining paste plants while training and mentoring local Fixed Plant Fitters across paste plants, reclaim plants, paste pumps, valves, and conveyor systems. Managing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are completed on time. Inspecting and maintaining Putzmeister paste plants to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime. Coordinating with vendors during commissioning phases to support equipment requirements and readiness. Maintaining a hands-on approach while ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed. Collaborating with other trades as required to ensure plant operations are efficient and safe. About you: Must have Cert III in relevant trade. At least 3 years post trade. Previous underground mining experience. Previous experience working on Putzmeister paste plants & equipment (Advantageous). Strong knowledge of mining regulations & procedures. Must have current passport and have ability to travel in and out of Australia. Ability to operate Mining vehicles with relevant RPLs (Essential). Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions. Provide a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months. Be able to pass a pre-employment medical to include drug and alcohol screening. Have a current Australian C class manual drivers licence at minimum. Dangerous goods security card (Essential).
