About the role Reporting to the Supervisor Parks, you will lead a small team responsible for the operational maintenance and presentation of the City's parks and gardens. You'll take pride in ensuring our green spaces are safe, sustainable, and maintained to the highest horticultural and turf standards. A snapshot of your new role: Leading and supporting a team for quality maintenance. Setting up maintenance schedules and plans Strong safety and work practices. Encourage multi-skilling and learning. Carry out reticulation and irrigation maintenance, mowing, digging, edging, brush cutting, planting, fertilising, oval management and weed control. Conduct daily checks, operate plant and machinery safely and oversee proper traffic management practices. Foster a positive, team oriented culture and show commitment to community care.
