We live by the AC3 way - Work Wise, Work Humble, and Work Honest. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a Linux Engineer to join AC3 in a delivery-focused, project-led role (no BAU). You’ll play a key part in major migration work for strategic customers, with a strong emphasis up front on discovery, documentation, and planning, then moving into hands-on execution once the approach is locked in. Produce clear documentation, risks, dependencies, and migration runbooks Build practical migration plans, cutover approaches, and rollback strategies Execute hands-on migrations of Linux systems between environments Work across virtualisation platforms (KVM and VMware) during migration activity Take ownership to proactively identify and resolve delivery issues. What we'd love to see? Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Experience migrating Linux systems from one environment to another within large enterprise environments Experience producing migration plans, cutover/rollback plans, and risk registers Hands-on exposure to Linux KVM and VMware A plus if you have… Experience with Red Hat Satellite (content, patching, provisioning or lifecycle) Experience with Public Cloud environments (Azure/AWS) Prior experience with Managed Services Providers Even if you don’t check every box, your passion and curiosity matter.
