Our client, a leading technology-focused organization, is looking to recruit a dedicated Kubernetes Administrator. This role involves the implementation, management, and optimization of Kubernetes systems in both public and private cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters on-premises and in cloud platforms Manage containerized applications, ensuring automated deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management using Kubernetes orchestration. Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and application performance Troubleshoot networking, storage, and orchestration challenges Enforce security best practices including RBAC, vulnerability scanning, secret management, and compliance with organizational policies. Collaborate closely with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams, providing guidance on Kubernetes best practices. Automate operational tasks and optimize cluster performance using GitOps workflows and other automation tools. Maintain detailed operational documentation Skills & Qualifications Strong commercial experience working with an managing Kubernetes platforms - probably though working as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer ideally you'll be Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) but this isn't essential Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud solutions including Azure and AWS. Experience with automation and orchestration tools aimed at reducing manual effort and improving efficiency Ideally you'll also expereience with VMWare, and a solid knowledge of kubernetes management tools like Rancher & Tanzu Chances are you've be a seasoned DevOps engineer or a professional cloud SME, but we'd encourage someone who is a up and comer in this space to apply.
