Job Description We are seeking a Power Platform Technical Consultant to join our Melbourne-based team. In this role, you will lead the technical design, development, and implementation of complex business solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will be responsible for translating high-level functional requirements into robust technical architectures, primarily utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Your work will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that solutions are not only functional but scalable, secure, and aligned with Microsoft’s best practices for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). Beyond core development, you will act as a technical subject matter expert during the discovery and deployment phases. This involves designing sophisticated data models, configuring security roles, and extending the platform's native capabilities through custom connectors or integration with Azure services. Working within our hybrid Melbourne office environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a disciplined approach to solution design, a strong grasp of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) principles, and the ability to navigate complex integration landscapes to drive tangible business value. Technical Skills Core Stack Proficiency: Advanced experience with Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, and Power Pages), Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop/RPA flows), and Dataverse. Extensibility & Coding: Ability to extend the platform using C#/.NET for plugins, JavaScript for form logic, and the Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) for custom UI controls. Data Architecture: Strong understanding of relational data modeling, security roles, and environment-level data sharing protocols. Integration: Expertise in building and consuming Custom Connectors, working with RESTful APIs, and integrating with Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Key Vault).
