About the role The Fuel Supply Manager is tasked with leading a team of Supply Planners to execute the Fuel Supply Management Services (FSMS) ensuring ongoing product availability across the 0–4 month time horizon across the DFSC. This role will be directly accountable for contract management of the Fuel Supply Contract driving efficient, on-time and cost-effective supply chain management across the contract. This role will be working from our Sydney CBD and North Sydney offices. Key responsibilities · Leads a team of Supply Planners with inventory management of product including but not limited to\: forecasting, ordering, stock progression management and assurance of delivery in-full and on-time. · Responsible for assuring compliance to Commonwealth Procurement Practices, including Deal Management administration. · Responsible for the implementation and governance of the Fuel Supply Management Services Plan (FSMSP) through the team of Supply Planners. · Manage relationships and interactions with Defence, Fuel Services Branch, Fuel Supply Contract and UGL team. · Managing Contractor Product Stewardship central escalation point for any product quality concerns across the DFSC. · Accountable for ensuring timely and accurate reporting and data validation for administrative tasks / records created in performing the FSMS. · Accountable to chair / facilitate Incident Management Team (IMT) / Surge Management Team / Humanitarian Air and Disaster Relief (HADR) Management Team. · Work with the Fuel Supply Contractor, Operations and Maintenance teams to eliminate or minimise supply risks across the DFN. · Ensure ongoing health status reporting from the DFN is accurately maintained, frequent updated and shared with relevant stakeholders. · Contribute to discussions / workshops within the broader DFSC to improve existing processes, systems or to derive value for Defence. · Level 1 Escalation Point for Fuel Supply Management Services. · Compliance champion for the FSMS team, including management of Conflict of Interests and associated trade risks across the FSMS. About You · 7 years proven experience in fuel supply chain operations and logistics in Australia or Asia–Pacific. · Supply, Scheduling or Trading experience. · Proven leadership experience managing a team. · Experience managing a blue chip, or tier 1 customers contract. · Knowledge of fuel supply and demand mass balance in Australia, awareness of global supply and demand flows. · Experienced in quality demand forecasting and management of fuel, as well as in managing working capital. · Understanding of product quality specifications and assurance procedures. · Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. bachelor’s degree) in a related subject (e.g. Engineering, Business/Commerce) or 10 years related industry experience. · NV1 Clearance, or ability to obtain About UGL As a member of the CIMIC Group of companies, we value diversity in our team’s backgrounds, ideas, work styles.
