We’re seeking a Business Analyst with knowledge in Workday Adaptive Planning experience to join a high-impact finance transformation program. This role is embedded within a fast-moving, multi-stream delivery environment and will play a critical role in shaping how the organisation plans, budgets and forecasts. You’ll operate at the intersection of Finance and Technology, working alongside Workday specialists, vendors and internal stakeholders. This role suits someone who brings a functional consultant mindset, paired with strong BA fundamentals, and who can quickly get across complex, cube-based planning environments. What You’ll Be Doing: Act as the primary BA supporting Workday Adaptive Planning across budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling. Partner closely with Finance, Treasury, Procurement and broader business teams to elicit and refine requirements. Translate business needs into clear functional designs, user stories and configuration inputs for Adaptive Planning. Analyse current and future-state planning and finance processes, identifying optimisation opportunities. Support sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement and configuration discussions with Workday and technical partners. Work with Finance SMEs to validate assumptions, data models, hierarchies and reporting outputs. Produce clear, concise documentation including process flows, functional specs and decision artefacts. Contribute to change, readiness and cutover activities across a compressed delivery timeline. Facilitate workshops and working sessions to drive alignment and momentum across stakeholders. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience delivering Workday Adaptive Planning. Background as a Senior Business Analyst or Functional Consultant within finance planning implementations. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling concepts. Experience with cube-based planning tools (e.g. Adaptive, TM1, or similar) and the ability to adapt quickly to new platforms. Solid knowledge of core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, Procurement, Assets, etc.). Confident stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and challenge constructively.
