Current HR Licence a must | Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm About the role, We're looking for an experienced HR Driver to join the afternoon shift at our Penrith Distribution Centre. No regional drives. Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm Allowance paid in addition to salary package. The Penrith DC supports several specialist businesses including Access, Earthmoving & Site Services, Traffic, and Pump & Power. The role sits within the logistics function and plays a critical part in servicing large customers and supporting our branch network with specialist equipment. Working alongside an Afternoon Shift Hire Controller, you'll service one of our key accounts while also responding to breakdowns, replacements and pick-ups as required. This is a hands-on role that requires strong self-management, clear communication and a safety-first mindset. What You'll Be Doing Safely loading, securing, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites and branches Servicing large customer sites and providing friendly, professional customer service Demonstrating safe equipment use, including QR code guidance Operating mobility devices and completing scanning, pick-up and delivery tasks Loading and unloading equipment with correct load restraint Following Chain of Responsibility (COR) and mass & dimension requirements Proactively working with scheduling to manage deliveries and changing priorities Making recommendations on complementary equipment where appropriate About you Current HR Licence (essential) Proven experience delivering to large customer or construction sites Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and safe work practices Confident communicator who can work independently and keep stakeholders informed Comfortable using mobile devices and basic computer systems Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt when plans change A genuine focus on safety, service and doing the job properly Why Join the Kennards Hire Family?
