Job Description Position Title: APS5/6 Digital Support Officer Employment Type: Labour hire contract (approx 12 months with the potential to extend Location: Canberra Security Clearance/Requirements: Minimum NV1 Australian Government security clearance ABOUT THE ROLE An Australian Government organisation is seeking an APS5/6 Digital Support Officer to provide digital solutions and business process automation support within a security-focused environment. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify improvement opportunities and deliver simple, effective digital solutions using enterprise Microsoft tools. The work focuses on configuration, automation, reporting and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with business users to understand current processes and pain points Gather, document, and translate functional requirements into practical digital solutions Design, build, and maintain automation and reporting solutions using: SharePoint Online Power Automate Power Apps Power BI Manage a backlog of digital improvements and enhancements Maintain and improve existing workflows and solutions Ensure solutions comply with organisational standards and are user-friendly Provide user training, documentation, basic support, and knowledge transfer Collaborate with internal IT teams where required SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential: Practical experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and the Microsoft Power Platform Understanding of basic data modelling and reporting concepts Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders Strong communication and problem-solving skills Desirable: Experience working in government environments Experience with information management and information security ELIGIBILITY Australian citizenship is required Must hold a minimum NV1 Australian Government security clearance Apply now or contact Angel Malkovich on 6260 8888 at SOS Recruitment for a confidential discussion.
