PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The Safety and Wellbeing Compliance Coordinator supports the organisation in meeting its regulatory, legal, and internal policy obligations. This role is responsible for coordinating compliance activities, monitoring regulatory changes, assisting in audits, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting risk management processes. The position plays a key role in ensuring business operations are conducted with integrity and in adherence to applicable standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and ensure compliance with manufacturing-related regulations (e.g., WHS, GMP, environmental standards). Maintain and update compliance registers, permits, licences, certifications, and documentation. Assist in internal and external inspections, regulatory inspections, and customer compliance assessments. Support the implementation and review of safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures. Investigate compliance incidents, assist with root cause analysis, and track corrective/preventative actions. Liaise with internal departments (production, maintenance, QA, Risk and Compliance) to ensure processes align with compliance standards. Monitor and report on compliance metrics, audit findings, and key risk indicators. Assist in delivery compliance training and awareness sessions for operational staff. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to compliance, risk reduction, and operational excellence. Stay current with changes to relevant laws, regulations, and standards affective manufacturing operations.
