GRIT is hiring on behalf of our client in the AEC sector for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with strong Python expertise and experience delivering within larger, cross-functional teams. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying ML models and AI-driven solutions on Azure, collaborating closely with BAs, developers, and data professionals to support innovation across the built environment. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production environments Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to transform prototypes into scalable solutions Enhance MLOps pipelines and ensure performance, reliability, and accuracy Leverage Azure ML, AI Search, OpenAI and cloud-based data services Monitor, update and maintain ML models to ensure optimal performance What you’ll bring: 1 year of commercial experience in machine learning and Python Solid grasp of tools like scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Plotly Experience working in production environments with Git and cloud (Azure preferred) Proficiency in Python (using VSCode or PyCharm) Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field Azure ML experience or certification highly desirable Highly Desirable: Knowledge of MLOps (MLFlow, Optuna), REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask), and Linux Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow Familiarity with 3D geometry or IFC/IfcOpenShell This is a fast moving role!
