Are you an experienced bookkeeper ready to step up into a senior leadership role? Our client, a boutique-chartered accounting firm experiencing strong growth, is looking for a Bookkeeping Manager to lead their newly created position and drive the expansion of their bookkeeping services. Reporting directly to the Partner, you’ll manage a portfolio of high-quality clients, lead a small off-shore team, and ensure bookkeeping excellence across the board. What you’ll do: Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service. Lead and develop a small team of off-shore bookkeepers, providing guidance and support. Oversee bookkeeping processes, ensuring compliance with firm standards. Identify opportunities to grow the bookkeeping division and contribute to business development. Foster team growth through learning and development initiatives. What we’re looking for: Minimum 6 years bookkeeping experience, ideally in a professional services firm. Bookkeeping qualification preferred (not essential). Strong understanding of payroll, BAS, Balance Sheet reports, and cash flow statements. Proficiency in Xero, Xero Add-ons, and Excel. High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and strong communication abilities. Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
