Your new role: This role supports post-disaster mental health recovery by delivering community-focused recreational and diversional programs that strengthen resilience and wellbeing. Plan, deliver and evaluate recovery-focused recreational and diversional activities for individuals and communities impacted by disaster Build intergenerational and culturally sensitive programs that promote connection, education and psychosocial wellbeing Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with local stakeholders across the Metro South catchment Ensure consumer safety, quality documentation, data collection and compliance with service standards and legislation About you: You are a community-minded recreation professional who is passionate about recovery-focused practice and working with diverse communities. Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate mental health or recovery-focused programs Experience working independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary or community settings Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing demands A consumer-centred, culturally respectful approach aligned with evidence-based practice and continuous improvement Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
