About you: In your new role you will Assist the Nurse Unit Manager to implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance within Lotus Glen Health Service. Demonstrate evidence of increasing autonomous practice and greater levels of professional judgement, influencing practice as a team member predominately within the clinic setting. Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research in conjunction with other nursing staff. About your opportunity: In this position you will Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area. Promote cooperation, teamwork and understanding in undertaking generalist and/or specialist nursing practices for effective health outcomes. Provide leadership to effectively plan, manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level within the specified clinical setting and promote patient flow in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team. About your role: Effectively communicate at all levels across the organisation to promote effective team functioning. As a health clinician in the custodial setting, strong ethical values regarding care provided to clientele and consistency in your practice is essential. Undertake quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective patient care.
