About the role We are looking for a Senior Data Reporting Analyst to join our Group Customer & Strategy division. In this role, you'll transform data into insights - building the reports, dashboards, and executing governance activities frameworks that drive smarter decisions across the business. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand what they need, then deliver reporting solutions that are clear, actionable, and built to last. You'll also play a key role in embedding our Data Governance Framework, ensuring data quality and consistency across the division. Key Responsibilities Develop and refine performance metrics and dashboards that give leadership a clear view of divisional and marketing performance Translate business requirements into well-designed reports using tools like Power BI and Databricks Analyse data to uncover trends and insights, then communicate findings in ways that resonate with non-technical audiences Implement and maintain data governance practices, including data catalogues, quality rules, and compliance reporting Collaborate across teams to resolve data quality issues and ensure consistency through master and reference data Skills and experience required: Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information systems, data management, actuarial studies, or a related field. Strong experience with data reporting, visualisation (Power BI), and database concepts (including Databricks). Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as CPG235, CPS230, CPS234, and the Privacy Act. Sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. The ability to explain complex concepts simply and build strong relationships across teams. A pragmatic, collaborative approach with the drive to see things through.
