As the Principal Treasury Analyst, you will provide expert advice and oversight of critical social policy frameworks and initiatives, supporting government-wide priorities and championing evidence-based decision-making for the benefit of Queensland communities. In this role, you will: - Lead and coordinate the delivery of a complex program of social policy analysis and initiatives. - Develop and deliver strategic, practical, and solutions-focused advice on social policy frameworks and programs to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the government's priorities. - Exercise sound judgment, provide authoritative advice, and influence stakeholders to balance client needs and team goals. - Offer leadership and direction to team members executing multi-dimensional projects, while delivering guidance and support to senior executives and clients. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to address challenging and complex policy issues. - Represent Queensland Treasury in high-level consultations, negotiations, and forums, ensuring consistent and professional advocacy of policy priorities. What experience you will bring: - Demonstrated experience in program and project management or in advancing proactive, evidence-based policy agendas across multi-disciplinary teams. - A strong ability to prepare and deliver strategic and actionable policy advice. - A desire and proven ability to inspire meaningful change and drive policy outcomes. - Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholders and audiences. - Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, fostering collaboration and information sharing among stakeholders.
