Key Responsibilities Depending on role focus and organisational requirements, responsibilities may include: Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reports Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning Financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting Management of general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close Supporting commercial and strategic decision-making Ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB/IFRS) Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders Improving financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency Mentoring or managing junior finance team members Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field CA, CPA (Australia), CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred 5–10 years’ experience in progressively responsible finance or accounting roles Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, TechnologyOne, etc.) Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability Leadership potential and readiness for senior responsibility Benefits Extra Superannuation - Pension plan Training & Development
