About The Role - Maternity Cover (Approx 15 Months until end of May 2027) Polynovo is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Officer to join our team during a maternity leave period until May 2027. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of our global payroll operations, managing six payrolls across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, UK, and Singapore to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. You will work closely with our People Team and partner with Finance to support payroll-related reporting, audits, and reconciliations. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll for 6 payrolls across 5 international locations. Coordinate payroll activities through ADP, including data uploads, validation, troubleshooting, and communication with ADP support teams. Ensure every entity is compliant with state and federal taxation laws, including salary, benefits, and final pay requirements. Process full employee lifecycle changes (new starters, terminations, variations, and leave) in line with Awards, agreements, and local legislation. Review, validate, and reconcile payroll reports, resolving any discrepancies promptly. Prepare payroll tax, superannuation/pension, and termination calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Support audit processes by preparing and supplying required documentation during interim, half-yearly, and year-end audits. Provide regular payroll reporting, respond to queries, and build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and regional managers to ensure seamless payroll delivery across all countries. Experience 5 years of payroll processing experience in Australia and New Zealand, with experience in at least on the following preferred - UK, Singapore, or Hong Kong. Strong, practical experience using ADP payroll systems (GlobalView, Celergo, Payforce, ESS). Demonstrated ability to interpret payroll legislation, including Awards, industrial instruments, and company policies, and provide accurate payroll advice. Proven track record of maintaining high compliance standards and supporting internal and external audits. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
