Immediate start Mon-Fri 6.45-3.45pm RDO every fortnight Duties: Maintenance of parkland, streetscapes and landscaped areas Chemical handling - application and operation of horticultural machinery Responsible for maintenance of plant and equipment Requirements: MR driver's licence and truck driving experience Current White Card Previous experience in gardening, horticulture or landscaping Small and heavy plant equipment tickets as appropriate Cert in Horticulture- highly desirable Chemical handing application Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) or ability to obtain them Chainsaw ticket or willing to obtain Essential: Experience in physical labouring Demonstrated understanding and experience in horticulture Exp in plant: Trucks, ride on and walk behind mowers, bush cutters, landscaping hand tools, and chemical handling application Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal Ability to deal with members of the public Working well within a team as well as independently unsupervised Possession of a current MR-B or MR class drivers licence Physical requirements: Constant repetitive walking, squatting, kneeling, bending, and negotiating uneven ground Climbing in and out of vehicles Carrying materials, objects, and equipment up to 20kgs Manual dexterity needed for fitting reticulation equipment and fittings Digging and preparation of sites for reticulation If you fit the above criteria press APPLY now or call Kristy on 04077115089 for a confidential discussion about the role.
