Senior Accountant - Boutique Practice | Parramatta A well-established boutique accounting firm based in Parramatta, led by two hands-on partners. Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who is ready to step in and contribute from day one. This role is ideal for someone with strong public practice experience who enjoys being hands-on, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable working directly with partners in a small, professional team. The Role You will be responsible for managing your own client work end to end, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes efficiently. Duties will include: Preparation and review of tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and SMSFs BAS, FBT and compliance work Liaising directly with clients, the ATO and other stakeholders Working closely with the partners on day-to-day matters Contributing reliably as a senior member of a small team This is a practical, delivery-focused role — titles and politics are not the priority here. About You 6 years' experience in public practice accounting Background in a boutique or small-to-mid-tier firm preferred Confident managing files independently with minimal supervision Comfortable working directly under partners Reliable, accountable, and genuinely focused on getting the work done properly CA or CPA not essential — capability and experience matter more Australian permanent residency status required This role will suit someone seeking a stable, hands-on Senior Accountant position , rather than a management title or fast-track pathway. Package & Process Salary: $90,000-$110,000 package inclusive of super (flexible for the right person)
