ROLE- Level 1 & 2 IT Support Full Time Permanent Voice Basic Networking & Systems INTERVIEWS 30th December & 31st December 2025 & 1st January 2026 EMPLOYMENT START 5th January 2026 is preferred but flexible RIGHTS TO WORK Must have PR or Citizenship ONLY COMPANY We are an established provider of technology- voice and communications services in Perth Australia. We have our own national network with a range of modern technologies used to provide services to customers across telephony, voice, networking and telecommunications arena. The purpose of this opening is to primarily provide level 1 & 2 support to our growing customer base around Perth, Australia for the services we deliver. Additionally, there is opportunity to learn and up-skill to support our existing engineering team in the development of new and exciting services, upgrades and maintenance of existing Cisco & Asterix networking equipment. This provides a solid path for career advancement into a technical specialist role in the company. This is a IT Support role suitable for someone who has around 1-3 years exp and has recently completed a suitable course at TAFE or some other educational facility such as Cert IV or Diploma of Network Engineering. Alternately a demonstratable base skillset. You will be keen for a solid learning opportunity and have a thirst for knowledge. You should be a highly motivated self-learner where no challenge presents an obstacle to seek new knowledge and information and eventually execute a well thought out solution. You will work from our central northern suburbs office in Perth and some travel to client sites for network and hardware installs. Key responsibilities: - Front line service desk – you will field calls as well as handle email requests. You will talk directly to clients, help with their needs/fault find and execute/resolve where possible. Escalation to senior engineers/management as required. - Configuration of equipment for new customers – Cisco or Asterix- Routers, Switches, IP Phones. - Troubleshooting technical issues - Assisting senior engineers where possible (and learning along the way is key). Required: - Well presented and excellent communication skills with great customer service ability. - Strong customer focus – you’ll be advocating for customer needs and requirements. - General aptitude for technology (networking, voice, Linux, Windows etc). - Learn as you go – ability to self-educate as you need – you’re going to be exposed to lots of new things. - Able to work in a team, or solo. - Basic familiarity with Windows servers and desktops and Linux is desirable, ideally in a business environment. - Basic understanding of ipv4 networking (routing, switching, firewalling). - If you encounter something you don’t know, you will attempt to find a solution and not just give up. - A person who is down to earth and easygoing with great sense of humor. Desirable: -Experience with Cisco, Asterisk and Juniper network products - General familiarity with web development, SQL, APIs - Have own test lab at home and have been learning all about Linux, Networking (routing, switching, VLANs etc), Asterisk, Microsoft Teams, and voice in general. - You eat, breathe, sleep technology.
