Job Summary As a data architect , you will design and architect scalable secure and resilient cloud solutions primarily on AWS with integration and support for Azure environments.Lead cloud migration projects including assessment planning and execution ensuring minimal business disruption.Develop and implement cloud architecture frameworks best practices and governance policies aligned with IT and business strategies.Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver cloud based. Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable secure and resilient cloud solutions primarily on AWS with integration and support for Azure environments Lead cloud migration projects including assessment planning and execution ensuring minimal business disruption Develop and implement cloud architecture frameworks best practices and governance policies aligned with IT and business strategies Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver cloud based solutions that drive business value Oversee the automation of cloud deployment management and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code IaC tools such as CloudFormation Terraform or ARM templates Ensure compliance with security regulatory and operational standards across AWS and Azure platforms Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and DevOps teams Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field Masters degree preferred 5 Plus years of hands on experience in AWS cloud architecture and operations Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud environments Strong understanding of networking security identity management and cloud native services Proficiency in scripting and automation eg Python PowerShell Bash Familiarity with DevOps practices CICD pipelines and containerization eg Docker Kubernetes Experience with cloud migration cost optimization and performance tuning Relevant AWS and Azure certifications egAWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable Resilient cloud solutions primarily on AWS with integration and support for Azure environments Agile SAFE experience will be a plus Benefits Joining Cognizant will give you the opportunity to learn and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry, while having your finger on the pulse of emerging industry trends and working on the cutting edge of technology in your field of expertise.
