Description The Site Quality Leader is responsible for leading and executing all quality-related activities at the Brisbane site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and StandardAero quality standards. This role partners closely with site leadership, operations, engineering, and regulatory bodies to drive a strong quality culture, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, Transport Canada, AS/ISO, customer, and internal requirements. Serve as the primary quality authority for the site, providing guidance and decision-making support to site leadership and operational teams. Ensure successful preparation for and execution of internal, customer, and regulatory audits; lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances, escapes, and quality events. Partner with Operations to ensure product conformity, airworthiness, and on-time delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards. Lead, develop, and mentor the site Quality team, fostering accountability, engagement, and technical excellence. Monitor and report quality performance metrics, trends, and risks to site and regional leadership. Promote a strong safety and quality culture, including human factors, continuous improvement, and regulatory awareness. Support new product introductions, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Act as the site liaison with regulatory authorities and customers on quality-related matters. Mandatory Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Aviation, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7 years of progressive quality experience in aerospace, aviation MRO, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing quality teams. Strong working knowledge of aerospace regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, TCCA, AS9100/ISO). Proven experience leading audits, investigations, and corrective action processes. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive a culture of quality and accountability. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Quality certifications (ASQ CQE, CQA, or equivalent). Experience in engine MRO or complex repair environments. Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience. This role is a full-time permanent position with some domestic travel required.
