IEPro are working with a respected civil engineering and construction business to recruit a Safety Advisor based in Brisbane. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of complex civil and infrastructure projects while working within a team that genuinely values safety, quality, and collaboration. You will play a key role in driving safe systems of work and supporting operational teams to achieve strong safety outcomes on site. This position would suit a proactive safety professional who enjoys being visible on site and working closely with project teams to embed positive safety behaviours. The Opportunity As Safety Advisor, you will support project teams across multiple sites, providing guidance, monitoring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations. You will work closely with supervisors, engineers, and managers to ensure safety systems are implemented effectively and continuously improved. The Role In this role, you will: Support site teams with implementation of WHS systems and procedures Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions Prepare and maintain safety documentation including SWMS and risk assessments Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and inductions Monitor compliance with legislative and project safety requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety performance About You To succeed, you will bring: Experience in a Safety Advisor or similar WHS role within civil or infrastructure environments Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements Experience supporting site-based project teams Confident communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS or equivalent qualification A proactive and practical approach to safety The Benefits Permanent Brisbane-based role Exposure to a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects Supportive leadership team and collaborative culture Competitive salary package up to $150k super Long-term stability with a strong project pipeline Please note: Applications will only be considered from Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents with local experience.
