About position : We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer assistant / Project administrator Intern. Position Summary: The Electrical Engineering Assistant will support Project Engineers in the design, drafting, documentation, and preparation of technical manuals related to electrical switchboards. The role requires a strong electrical engineering foundation, proficiency in drafting, and the ability to perform basic electrical calculations using relevant software tools. Key Responsibilities: Assist Project Engineers in the design and development of electrical switchboards Prepare and update electrical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools Support the preparation of technical documentation, manuals, and project records Perform basic electrical calculations and assist with design verification Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure drawings and documents meet project specifications and standards Maintain organized records of drawings, calculations, and technical documents Key Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Basic understanding of electrical systems, switchboards, and components Proficiency in drafting and technical documentation Ability to perform basic electrical calculations Familiarity with electrical design software and tools Must be able to work at least 3 days per week. Technical Skills: AutoCAD proficiency preferred Working knowledge of electrical design and drafting standards Preferred Attributes: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Willingness to learn and adapt in a project-based engineering environment LOCATION: The host company is located at Warriewood NSW.
