About the Role As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred support aligned with NDIS Practice Standards. You will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation, while promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion. You will work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and care teams to support individual goals and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centered, active support in line with individual support plans Assist clients with personal care, mobility, transfers, and safe manual handling Support daily routines, recreational activities, and community participation Administer medications and support health care routines as delegated Assist with domestic tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and incident reports Monitor and report changes in client needs, behaviors, or risks Promote dignity, rights, cultural respect, and positive community engagement Follow all organisational policies, WHS standards, and NDIS requirements Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders Evidence of competency and ongoing assessments may be required. Mandatory Requirements To be considered, applicants must hold: Current Australian (or accepted International) Driver’s Licence Access to a reliable, insured, roadworthy vehicle (travel reimbursed as per Award) Right to work in Australia Current clearances and certifications, including: National Police Check (issued within 12 months) NDIS Worker Screening Check NDIS Orientation Module Working With Children Check (WA, if required) Medical competency certification Current First Aid & CPR Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption Inherent Requirements Ability to perform manual handling and personal care tasks Capacity to support individuals who may be distressed or in crisis Willingness to travel and work across multiple locations Confidence using assistive equipment and basic computer systems Why Join NHR Staffing Group?
