This site-based role reports to the Senior Mine Geologist and operates on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on assisting in the coordination and execution of geological functions to support safe, efficient, and profitable mining operations. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and a strong commitment to HSEC while driving continuous improvement across mine geology activities. Planning, designing, and overseeing underground diamond drilling programs, including scheduling and QA/QC. Managing grade control, ore management, and geological data to ensure accurate mine planning and production outcomes. Developing short and long-term grade forecasts, drilling schedules, and operational reports for mining and processing teams. Maintaining and improving geological models, procedures, and data quality to support confident technical decision-making. About You Our ideal candidate will have strong operational geological experience, ideally in production or exploration, including solid experience working as a Mine Geologist in underground environments. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Geology. Strong technical capability across underground grade control, orebody interpretation and modelling, sampling methods, and grade estimation and reconciliation. Well-versed in drill and project scheduling, including the management and supervision of daily drilling activities. Experience with mining software packages such as Vulcan, Deswik, Geobank, and Leapfrog. A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
