Commissioning Superintendent – 2:1 FIFO About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Superintendent to lead commissioning activities on a major project with a Tier 1 mining operator. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for safe energisation, system readiness, and the transition from construction to operations. You will provide technical leadership across electrical, control systems, and HV infrastructure, working closely with construction, operations, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure commissioning is delivered safely, efficiently, and to standard. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute commissioning activities across electrical, control systems, and HV assets Manage commissioning documentation including ITRs, CVCs, CMS, RFC and RFSU sign-offs Oversee safe energisation, HV isolations, switching plans, and risk management Coordinate resources, vendors, and specialist contractors Support FAT, SAT, system testing, and operational handover Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and reporting throughout the commissioning phase Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Commissioning Superintendent / Manager / Lead Strong background in electrical commissioning, HV systems, and energisation Experience with CMS, systemisation, ITRs, CVCs, and commissioning work packs Solid understanding of safety, risk, HAZOPs, TBRAs, and SIMOPS Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure project environment FIFO experience on major Tier 1 mining, energy, or infrastructure projects What’s on Offer Senior leadership role with a Tier 1 mining operator Competitive FIFO package Clear scope, strong systems, and well-supported commissioning phase
