We are representing our Client in the recruitment of an Area Operations Manager leading a team of Centre managers across the Sydney Region. The portfolio will consist of 6 services based in the North West Region. The position is a hybrid position working between services. As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of 6 early childhood services. We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Area Manager to oversee the portfolio, ensuring high-quality programs, strong compliance, and exceptional team culture. This role plays a key part in guiding Leaders, building positive community relationships, and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites. Key Perks and finer details: $130, 000 - $150, 000 super Full-time position 6 services ranging in size (50pl - 120pl) Existing Directors and no gaps in service leadership needs Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to Centre Directors, fostering a positive, high-performing culture across all services Ensure service compliance with NQF, NQS, Child Safe Standards, and organisational policies, proactively identifying and addressing risks Oversee operational and financial performance including occupancy, budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation Drive continuous improvement in educational programs and practice, supporting quality uplift and successful assessment & rating outcomes Build and maintain strong relationships with families, communities, and key stakeholders to enhance service reputation and engagement Lead strategic workforce planning and recruitment initiatives to ensure consistent, capable staffing and talent development What You’ll Need Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator role (preferred) Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and preschool best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection and Anaphylaxis training Why Join Our Client?
