We regularly have opportunities in the Cairns QLD region and are seeking experienced Administration Officers - interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for an initial 1-2 year durations with the possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects. Responsibilities: • Provide effective administration for project teams; Mandatory Experience As a guide, the person applying for this role would need a minimum of 3 years' practical experience in supporting a team of professionals, preferably on Civil Roads Infrastructure Construction Projects working directly or indirectly for DTMR, or any other Australian Road Authority. (eg: TfNSW/RMS, VicRoads, SARoads, TasRoads etc). • Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management and confident with using MSOutlook / email programs. • The ability to 'touch type' would be mandatory. • Exposure to any Professional Document Control Management systems a distinct advantage. Must have a valid driver's licence and have access to own transport to/from home to site or office locations that may not be serviced by public transport. Preference will be given to someone already living in Brisbane or Queensland. Due to the Quality Assurance standards requirement to have knowledge of the local DTMR &/or QLD Councils Document Control practises &/or systems, the local Road Network and Region, we will not be able to consider overseas applicants.
