We have a growing presence in cyber, space and nuclear programs. Tell me about these roles? Amentum are seeking multiple security cleared Commercial Officers to join our team on a permanent basis. As the Commercial Officer or Senior Commercial Officer you will be responsible for leading commercial deliverables and provide commercial tasks as required such as procurement documentation (Request for Tenders, Section 23, and Decision Briefs). These roles will be Cairns based and will play a critical part in delivering the latest in Naval capability technology to our Defence Force. Experience in Defence environments and ASDEFCON contracts is essential to be successful in these roles. What will I be doing day to day? Develop, support and manage contract and commercial objectives and documentation in support of strategic ASDEFCON contracts Prepare contract artefacts for new, renewal or extensions Review existing contracts for fitness-for-purpose and propose changes offering better commercial outcomes Develop a commercial roadmap & procurement strategy Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations Provide advice and assistance related to commercial matters What sort of skills do I need? Experience within the Defence industry in a commercial or procurement role Experience working on ASDEFCON contracts Strong communication skills Process orientated with good attention to detail Minimum Baseline security clearance (must be an Australian citizen) What’s in it for me?
