Senior Property Accountant - Sydney CBD A privately owned Australian investment group with a strong focus on property and hospitality is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. The business invests across hotels, pubs, residential and mixed-use assets. Responsibilities: Support Centre Managers with finance and leasing tasks for retail properties Set up and maintain leases and licences in PAS Manage lease details like rent, charges, options, insurance, bank guarantees and reminders Prepare and review rent review calculations and related tenant letters Issue monthly rental invoices and other tenant charges from PAS Maintain tenant accounts and bank guarantee/bond registers Help prepare annual budgets and set them up in PAS Prepare outgoings reconciliations and marketing cost statements Assist with percentage rent and other tenant calculations when needed Process daily rent receipts and perform bank reconciliations Enter supplier invoices and prepare regular payments Support payroll processing and related reconciliations Prepare monthly management accounts, BAS and activity statements Help with year-end workpapers and compliance tasks with external advisors Manage business registrations, insurance renewals and related admin Skills and Experience: CA or CPA qualified Proven experience as a property accountant or finance professional Strong understanding of leasing and property accounting practices Experience with PAS or similar property/accounting systems Highly organised with great attention to detail Comfortable preparing and reviewing lease setups and tenant billing Confident with month-end tasks, budgets and reconciliations Solid written and verbal communication skills Enjoys variety and can manage a broad range of tasks without fuss Apply now If you're keen for a hands-on property accounting role with impact, we'd love for you to apply today!
