As a member of the Community team, this position leads and strengthens Scentre Group’s community programs—particularly the flagship Westfield Local Heroes (WLH) program by shaping program strategy, leading creative and asset development, improving internal communication, and elevating community impact storytelling. About the Role: The overarching purpose of the role is to elevate the visibility, quality, and impact of Westfield’s community programs particularly Westfield Local Heroes through Leading program marketing and events, storytelling and creative direction. Driving consistent national delivery across centres. Strengthening internal communications and support. Improving program insights, structure, and operational efficiency. Enhancing customer trust, advocacy, and community impact Key Responsibilities: Shape the long‑term WLH strategy and future program direction. Develop the strategic approach to the 10 year anniversary of Westfield Local Heroes Lead the WLH marketing and communications strategy Work with Brand & Communications to deliver clear, cohesive program narratives. Oversee key platforms and workflows including Awardforce, interviews, bios and asset creation. Support governance across privacy, compliance and data integrity. Manage internal program communications, ensuring clarity, consistency and useful guidance. Advise and support centre teams to strengthen local delivery. Collaborate across Brand, Comms, Program Delivery, Reputation, Membership, Legal, Risk, CX and Digital. Align community programs with broader enterprise priorities. Improve social impact measurement and reporting through strong storytelling and insights. Drive innovation in creative content, formats and delivery. This role is part time 3 days a week and is based in the Sydney Support Office.
