Dunsteel Engineering Pty Ltd Location - Moss Vale NSW Dunsteel Engineering Pty Ltd is a leading steel fabrication business with over 50 years of experience. We specialise in delivering complex projects for leading building firms and architects. Dunsteel are at the forefront of prefabricated stairway design for large multistorey buildings. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Boilermaker who will be responsible for: Main task: Complete work involving structural steel Complete tasks involving welding out Study blueprints to determine locations, relationships, and dimensions of parts Locate and mark reference points for columns or plates, following blueprints and using straightedges, squares, transits, and measuring instruments. Lay out plate, sheet steel, or other heavy metal, and locate and mark bending and cutting lines, using protractors, compasses, and drawing instruments or templates Shape and fabricate parts, using heavy-metalworking machines such as brakes, rolls, and drill presses Maintain a safety focus with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes Join metal sections and structures together using welding, bolting or riveting methods Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner General boiler making duties including use of: grinding, cutting, welding, polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels. Co-ordinate and work in a team environment. Ensure the work is performed as per Job Cards or ITP's and current schedule of works. Daily time cards are completed accurately and on time. Assist in the management of a harmonious environment, team building and training of apprentices and other employees as required. Adherence to company procedures.
