About the role Provide mental health nursing care to patients with complex needs using clinical judgement and evidence-based interventions. Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to integrated and safe care delivery. Key duties of the role Integrate contemporary mental health information and evidence with personal experience Provide direct, expert clinical mental health nursing care of complex individuals Contribute mental health nursing assessment and advice to local clinical teams Identify hazards, assess risks and implement and maintain control measures Apply and share expert clinical knowledge to improve patient/client care outcomes Skills and Experience Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience Competence in delivering comprehensive mental health nursing assessment Knowledge of contemporary professional mental health nursing and health care issues Integration of information and evidence with personal experience to support decision making Effective leadership skills of communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
