Multiplex is currently undertaking early planning for the Canberra Lyric Theatre Project, which will deliver a landmark 2,000-seat new lyric theatre. This major redevelopment will transform the existing Canberra Theatre Centre precinct to better support international, national, and local performances, concerts, and events. Construction will be staged and carried out in a live environment, ensuring other venues at the Centre remain operational throughout. As an HSE Coordinator on this landmark project, you'll play a key role in driving health, safety, and environmental excellence across our projects. You'll partner with project teams to ensure compliance, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, keep records and systems up to date, and champion opportunities for continuous improvement. Candidates will interpret legislation and certification requirements and implement them into practice while supporting and guiding subcontractors in the delivery of their scope of works effectively. You'll maintain and monitor WHSE system compliance, investigate incidents promptly and thoroughly, and share lessons learned across the project. Success will come from your ability to identify, communicate, and resolve issues quickly and effectively. We're seeking a Safety professional with proven industry experience, strong systems knowledge and the ability to translate systems and processes into practical solutions. You'll need a solid understanding of relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and other related documentation, along with a track record of positively influencing and improved HSE outcomes.
