About the role Located in the Melbourne CBD, this short-term contract role provides leadership and accountability of all commercial activities, including the ongoing management of significant commercial contracts. The main responsibilities of this role include: Supporting the General Manager in identifying revenue growth and commercial opportunities. Managing and meeting the expectations of key stakeholders via a structured account and contract management approach. Managing all aspects of commercial contracts and partner relationships Providing accurate and timely advice to assist with key business decisions. Managing service provider performance. Overseeing the day-to-day management of the commercial operations. Optimising resource use, cost containment, the maintenance of quality standards and the mitigation of risk in the execution of all commercial activities. Ensuring all current and future financial objectives are met. About you Qualifications in business or finance. Post-graduate qualifications in business. Demonstrated experience with strategic commercial activities. Exposure to operational and commercial risk management within a retail environment desirable. Experience in contract management around multi-aspect facilities or projects with multiple service providers within a KPI environment. Experience in managing small to medium-sized projects (preferably projects that involved construction or infrastructure development and multiple stakeholders, including a government agency). High level negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts. Demonstrated ability to write reports and business cases Demonstrated budget management skills, including operational finance with a focus on the ability to manage costs.
