Structural Engineer $110,000 - $130,000 Melbourne Central Suburbs / On-site Commercial, Industrial and Residential (mid-high-rise) Projects The Business Planned Resources is seeking a Structural Engineer in Melbourne for a client, a privately owned Australian company with a strong reputation built on their ability to produce impressive designs in both the public and private sectors. They are an award-winning engineering consultancy that has an impressive project portfolio spanning more than 40 years and is one of the oldest consultants in the city. The Role Due to the continued success of the business over the last few years, they are now looking to recruit a Structural Engineer due to project demands. You will report to the Structural Director, whilst helping to deliver key projects and mentoring juniors in the team. Senior Structural Engineer Duties. Prepare design specifications and documentation. Ability to use SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, and INDUCTA Package. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections. Work as a team player to ensure deadlines are met. Work with and mentor drafters. Skills and Experience Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. 5 years experience required. Previous experience working in a similar role in Australia.
