The Position Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required. Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital. Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate. Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Ophthalmology experience is essential. Above all, patients will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.
