In this role you will: Handle level two and above service requests relating to infrastructure, systems and BAU Operations. Provide technical in-person, phone and email support to team members across a range of diverse technologies, including networking services and cloud services. Assist with the delivery of network infrastructure. Support Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Remote Desktop Services. Minor support for Linux systems. Attend to security incident responses and vulnerability management. Lead Microsoft Server, Azure, Active Directory Administration and management. Support networking and WAN/LAN administration and troubleshooting. Assist management in various tasks concerning performance operations, mobile device management and security. Mentor and coach junior team members on IT Support best practices. Ensure monthly patching and maintenance are reviewed and performed and all necessary vulnerabilities are rectified. Tools and systems revision, additions & internal/external rollouts. Consistently challenge the status quo and identify ways to improve service efficiencies. Resolve and restore technologies in critical situations. Consistently look for service improvements to better our environment and reduce support overhead, whilst improving the end user experience. To be successful in this role, you should have: Minimum 24 months in a Systems and Server support role. Great communication skills and customer service work experience across all levels. Experience with Firewall Technologies such as Fortinet, and Backup solutions (such as Microsoft Backup Centre). A good networking understanding and experience in HP Network Devices and products; and implementation/configuration of these core technologies. Experience with PABX and VOIP products (such as 3CX, AWS Connect), with Phone system knowledge for support and troubleshooting. Knowledge and hands-On experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Office and 365 Administration, Remote Desktop Services, Group Policy and virtualization. Proven experience in On-premises to Cloud system migration, configuration, and ongoing support for these products. Excellent Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with an open mind to investigate and solution outcomes. Experience in Google Workspace and Microsoft Cloud Suite with knowledge in OneDrive, Sharepoint, Google Drive and End User Applications. Hardware / peripheral skills such as Printers, networking gear, wireless devices, laptops. Proven experience in adhering and ensuring security solutions best practice. Microsoft, Google or leading partner certification. Remote monitoring and maintenance. ITSM ticketing experience. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Tertiary Qualification in an IT field. Valid Australia Driver’s License.
